The product configurator as a device for customer loyalty and brand identification.
bachmaier develops, manufactures and provides service for products aimed at the hearing aid, hearing protectionand music industries. For their top product, the "HEAROS" in-ear headphones, we were asked to create a strong stage presence that projects and supports the company’s modern brand image. Our task was to create an online shop that was expertly tailored to the young target group (professional and amateur musicians). The most important feature of this e-commerce solution was a product configurator that customers could use to individually design their own personal HEAROS.
During an intensive conception phase, we focused on the user experience and usability as well as how to best convey the young HEAROS brand image. This was to be supported by text and visuals that would create an emotional connection with the audience. We chose eCommerce software Magento 2 as the technological platform for the online shop. The focus was clearly on the product configurator, which the customer can use to design his own individually styled HEAROS in just three steps. After choosing either a custom-made product (using an impression of the ear) or an adaptable standard product, the customer proceeds with the model selection and subsequent design of the components (color, effects and engraving). Instant visualization of the end product makes the it immediately tangible for the user.

With its modern look and feel, the HEAROS shop offers the user an immersive experience from the very first interaction. The extremely high individualization and interaction possibilities for the user create a strong connection with the brand and a lasting positive customer experience.
