Mission

Eisele Pneumatics GmbH & Co. KG is a leading supplier of innovative connection solutions. For its highly diverse "MULTILINE" product line - offering coupling bodies -, we were asked to develop a product configurator that clearly displays the many possible combinations of multiple connections and that would support the user during the configuration process. It needed to serve as an important planning tool for customers and sales staff and also alleviate pressure on the Eisele service department.

Approach

Based on Magento 2, we developed the product configurator, an intelligent modular consulting tool. With this tool, connection components for electronics and electrics, compressed air, vacuum, gases, cooling water and liquids can be combined into one coupling body. A clever product logic with integrated compatibility testing of the individual parts supports the customer in making a selection. A product filter lists attributes and additional information that assist the user in making and verifying the correct selection.

Solution

Using a smart e-commerce solution, we developed a powerful tool for sales, marketing and service for Eisele. This easy-to-use planning tool guides the user intuitively in five steps to his individually configured product – from attributes such as size, shape, use and basic body to the offer of additional products (up-selling). The multi-line product configurator acts as a "digital consultant" by guiding the user through the product range and providing important additional information.
